I'm not sure about golf leagues, but on Tuesday morning there are Men's and Woman's executive golf scrambles weekly. You get randomly placed on a four man team, and for each time slot they give country club credits for 1st-3rd place low scores. The cost is $2, or $3 if you want to get into the closest to the pin. Most folks do the closest to the pin, so the pot is around $30-32. Try it, it's a nice way to meet folks and a lot of fun.
