I have seen termite damage in Florida and NC. We were fortunate and caught it early here in NC. In Florida a friend of mine was not so lucky and had them throughout the house eating the inside of moulding, walls etc. It was a huge expense to get repaired. I pay about 200 a year here in NC for the peace of mind.
