I understand your sentiment and others Rags… BUT, the people have spoken (via the ballot box) and the majority of this country voted for a "kinder, gentler, disengaged" president. Our country has not been deceived by our politicians. They are not asleep. Our majority politicians believe in an isolationist foreign policy of "active disengagement". We are living through the effects of this policy.
To continually scold people to wake up, get engaged, take action is futile. Our ELECTED politicians are guiding this country down a predictable path and again one that the majority of citizens VOTED for.
