Last time I went thru Atlanta - a very long time ago - it was a mid-week mid-day. Absolutely horrible, backed up for miles and miles.
Finally came upon the reason: a truck and two workers patiently filling pot-holes, by hand, in the center lane, looking totally calm, collected and unafraid!
