Default Hot Pockets, I did it my way…………….

I was on a timeshare resort vacation with 11 other people 2 weeks ago. I like to cook, save money and they like to eat. I said I would make 3 pot pies with the leftover cooked chickens we had. I bought prepared Pillsbury pie crusts, vegetables and gravy from Walmart. Then the requests came in. Some can’t have milk products, some corn, some don’t like peas, some don’t like broccoli---you get the idea.

Here’s what I did. I made plain chicken and gravy hot pockets instead.

I covered the top oven grill with foil. The bottom had some foil to allow heat to pass and catch drippings. Clean-up was a snap.
I buttered the cutting board and place the pie crust on top. I cut it in half and put a handful of cooked chicken and some gravy on one side of the semi-circle and folded over the other side and sealed rolling and pinching the edges. I made 12 of these in short time. Baked them for ½ hour and served them on separate plates.

The cooked vegetables and extra gravy served in many different dishes on the bar was just right to fix it any way you want. It tasted like a pot pie.

It went over very well.
