They have a history of voting against the wishes of seniors when it fits their political aspirations. Like any lobbyist group they do more harm than good and are an impediment for individual citizen to exercise their Constitutional rights.

I completely agree. Plus, their monthly magazine is chock full of ads for products and services that look like they would take advantage of seniors. I finally let my membership lapse, hoping that the endless solicitations for health and life insurance would stop, but they keep coming.
