We used the relocation service and the first agent was a nightmare. I fired her and switched to another agent within the agency. Our house was on the market one day and sold. We had 6 offers and a bidding war.
We were told by various agents prime time for house sales is spring. Sales slow down in summer and pick back up in the fall. Hopefully, with fall near you may get some offers.
I was told to leave all blinds open and the lights on, which I did. People prefer brightness vs . drab and dark. I had stew cooking in a crock pot so the house smelled wonderful. The main thing is decluttering, most of my bedroom dressers, bath and kitchen counter space were bare when potential buyers came. I took down all family photos and the house was spic & span clean.
Did your agent do a comparison market analysis when the house was priced?
