Remember that many of us have lived here for years and not had such an
extreme thing happen, but many of us were "taught" driving behaviors along with self restraint and manners in the area of the country we grew up in and are shocked and irritated by horn honking and obscene gestures and ignoring stop signs that are common in other sections of the country.
I remember reading on this forum that it was "no big deal" not to stop at all stop signs seven years ago and I was really, really surprised. I come from Ohio.
