It also reminded me of "The Swimmer" having just seen it for a second time a couple of months ago on TCM, that's a great movie.
I'm wondering which villages didn't have a neighborhood pool? There is suppose to now be 78 villages, and when you include family and sports pools, 75 seems a bit short. I believe there are 64 rec centers, a day of rec center pools might also be a challenge, especially since some have organized activities.
I did a small version of this in 1970 at Panama City Beach. I was in the Army going to school at Ft. Rucker, Alabama and a group of us would go down to PC on the weekends. One week it was raining all day and nobody was out at the pools at the motels, so another soldier and me swam through every motel pool on the beach side. At that time there was only about 15 motels. That's when I should of bought some real estate, it's now about 30 miles of hotels and condos.
