Beware of Alfie's
Just wanted to warn everyone about this place called Alfie's in Ocklawaha.
We ate there about 3 weeks ago on a Friday night. It turns out one of the employees stole our credit card number, made up a new card with our number and went on a spending spree to Publix, Winn Dixie and Walgreens. According to the Sheriff's Dept, we weren't alone. There were other's who had their numbers stolen there right around the same time period. I do know the waitress disappeared with our card for about 10 minutes.
I don't know the outcome or who it was as it's an ongoing investigation. What a terrible thing to have done to you when all you do is innocently go out to dinner.
