Be sure to get estimates from 2 or 3 REPUTABLE POOL Companies.
Perhaps the Tech from Pool Co is talking about the wire to your flow switch
which connects to your flow sensor.
The switch activates when flow sensor detects flow.
De-activates when flow sensor detects no flow.
The set up protects your pump from running without water
going thru it.
Price depends on whether you need Switch and/or Sensor.
Also length of run and ease of accessibility,
if wire to area needs total replacement, etc..
Use a reputable Pool Company like T& D.
This is ELECTRIC work, they have a CERTIFIED Electrician
to replace the wiring.
