AS long as you keep enough space for the air to circulate and the compressor cooling coils, fins, fan clean or free of dust. If not it will overheat and not cool. Refrigerators that run all the time usually need the dust/lint/hair blown from the cooling fins and fan area.

Even though it may run little longer in the garage and may heat the garage up little it should run and shutoff. If not it's probably dirty especially if it's not cooling as good anymore.

Even inside the house refirgerator's should be annually or semi-annualy cleaned depending on how much dust/lint/hair collects under it. How many of us do this??

"O" if frogot usually the back cover has to come off that covers the compressor and fan, some times if metal and sometmes if cardboard material with some insulation glued to it.
