I can understand fading, this sounds extreme. I would suggest two options. First, if you can get a piece of the paint (a chip) you might be able to get one of the paint stores to do an exact color match with their equipment. The other option would be to get multiple paint swatches and do a manual color match, and cross your fingers. I just did this with some furniture and was able to match the color by eye.
One other suggestion, when you get a pint that is close, blend it in with a brush, this will make the repair less obvious.
