In my understanding is a "gender" just a role we have to play in our society and is, in old understanding, for a lot of people almost the same with the "sex" of a human being. But there is a huge difference.

I do not believe that gender is anything other than the sex of the individual. I do not subscribe to just making things up as we go along in order to justify behavior.
