Actually, since oil is a fungible product to the extent there are shortages anywhere, the market would correct itself through price increases. For example, if ISIS takes out a major refinery in Saudi Arabia, the impact (depending on level of success of attack) could be significant enough for any of us to see at the pump.

Regarding the seeming guilt espoused in the post regarding it's all about oil etc, I'm always amused when I hear someone say 'no blood for oil' because it's such an inane way to look at it IMHO. (note: I'm not saying the poster said that ... it just made me think of the common street demonstration chant)
