I've heard of one guy who resurrected some old golf cart batteries using a desulphator and the literature implies that if you use it periodically it will extend battery life but would like to hear some real life testimonials.

I used an additive from JC Whitney a couple years back in a 36 volt Club Car. I had 2 batteries with dead cells. I put the additive in and after 2-3 charges they were back to full charge. I did not have anymore problems until I sold the cart a year later. Go to JCW.com, in search put ZX129084A for the quart bottle $24.99 or ZX133723R for the gallon size $69.99 plus shipping. I ordered the quart size, and divided it among all 6 batteries.
