must be for newer homes, Mind vents at the side of the house. I'm afraid this is big problem going UN-noticed older housing were the lint has had time to build up over few years. Unless the ones going through the roof has lint fall catch can I could imagine build up problem over time due to gravity at the bottom going through the roof. but, I haven't seen the newer designed roof vent systems. some of us are aware of routine maintenance requirements. This was basically heads up for others, especially after I noticed the flex duct twisting problem.
