One thing that makes The Villages unique are the many different locations the Residents have come from. There are many from the mid west who are easily offended and and have not been exposed to the real world, there are the ones from the bible belt who are also offended by some abnormal behaviors. Then there are the ones from New York City and other large cities who have been exposed to the various non social behaviors and understand the "nuts" that are out there and just go on with life. Anyone who has lived or worked in NY City would not become upset or take the time to write about it as it is to be expected when you recognize and have been exposed to the crazies that live in society.
