Dr. Novis was my assigned case manager when I had an emergency admission at The Villages Regional Hospital a few years ago. I went to his office after discharge and feel that he was knowledgeable and capable.
However, my hearing loss combined with his accent made me uncomfortable about us always being able to understand each other. We both seemed to have to repeat everything to each other. Accordingly, I went elsewhere to find a primary care physician.
This was as much my shortcoming as his. I have since obtained hearing aids.
