We visited and rented in TV four years prior to purchasing in August. We also had some friends that lived here for relatively long time and had lots of discussions with them as well. We found a great sales guy (Jim McLaughlin) who followed our needs rather than try and push us in a direction. After all those gyrations we narrowed it down to a couple things...new neighborhood so we could establish our neighborhood culture with other newbies, not having neighbors tight behind us and a house that was not buried deep into a community (easy access in and out). Working on that short list made the selection pretty easy.......you can become overwhelmed with choices so keep it simple.
