I have XP too, and have lots of problems with locking up..I called Tech support and was told there are too many programs running in the background..
I don't even think they have a clue how to fix this problem..
I also had to add memory..
Do you have any email programs dowloaded, like Incredimail??? I had to remove that program on mine as it was part of the problem..
