My question is what recourses do I have? I probably haven't had an accident in over 20 years and never one in Florida and, frankly, need some advice. Tomorrow I hope to find a neighbor who may have auto repair experience but, beyond that, what would you recommend?

Where were you? In a parking lot? If so good luck! This is a no fault state and you should have uninsured motorist coverage. Check out the damage and then decide what is best for you.
