The odd things I see/ read/hear about Ebola....My confusion 1 . how long it takes to become contagious 2. How is it transferred from person to person 3. What is hospital protocol for incoming possibly infected person 4. Is the protocol for quarantine a possible infected person the same for every medical facility in every state? 5. Does the CDC truly understand the transmission ,contagion and treatment of Ebola as this strain is now? Is there a definitive method in place for the safe care and treatment of ; possibly contagious, contagious, health care workers, general population, travelers . What is the worst case scenario ,and what has been proposed as the answer to ; quarantine, more medical facilities, transportation of health workers, and the ill, depots for , personnel, supplies and medical equipment necessary for large scale population areas affected.
Sounds panicky and over dramatic I know , but I like to have facts to base my judgements and actions, so far the answers to my concerns are not the same , changing daily, depending on what those in charge wish to share with the media. Not very reassuring
If you readers have a reliable ,scientific , medical (data ) based site that answers my concerns ..please inform me of its location.
