Depending on what co. you have service with, you may be anle to get a device for your home that will improve your service quite a bit. I have Verizon. I emailed their Director of Wireless Communications and got the device free (the Cust. Svc. Reps. first try to charge you $200 for it). The service here is quite variable. We live in Sanibel, my neighbor has never had a problem with her Verizon service, while we had to stand on the front lawn to avoid dropped calls.
