The NEATO is a vacuum similar to the Roomba but has some features that are terrific. It, too, does a great job but I wouldn't depend on it for really deep vacumming on carpets. We have one and love it because when the battery starts to die, it goes back to its charging station automatically. When charged, it remembers where it left off. When your Roomba dies, you might want to try a NEATO.
