We went Thursday to Brownwood for the Halloween show. Uncle Bob's Rock Shop as usual performed great. It was the third time I've seen them this month and I must have seen them 25 times all together. The Shaka Dancers did a great job with the Michael Jackson Thriller dance and Rocky Horror Time Warp dance and they were well received by the crowd. I knew to get there early, but apparently everyone else did as well, we arrived at 4pm and only seating in the stands was available.

The only complaint was, why is only one bar open when there is a crowd of probably 7,000 or 8,000 people. Granted, the bar has two windows but why is the second bar station shuttered, you couldn't have a bigger crowd. At 5pm the Happy Hour bar line wrapped all through the turnstiles and another 50 feet down the sidewalk. It's evident now that Brownwood is too small and all the stores aren't even open. I've been there before for the Florida Lottery and the Flamingos performance and 4th of July and other events, and this tops them all. It was a very good evening and the weather was great. We stopped at Chick Filet for a sandwich on the way out and they were sold out. I guess everybody did well.

Here's one of the clowns with a puppet mouse on her arm, my neighbor took the photo from our front row seats in the stands.
