If bills look good but someone attaches a rider for repealling Obamacare, it will be vetoed. The President does not have a line item veto.
For those who say the President can now be impeached, yes he can, but it takes 2/3 of the Senate to convict him. It is not going to happen.
It actually looks like 2 more years of obstructionist government instead of both parties working together for a better America.

Only time will tell, but getting rid of the wall in the Senate will open it up. I am hoping that all bills that go to the WH will be now discussed, instead of how it has been done, and be veto proof when it gets there.
There has been much, much room for compromise and the Senate was the main, and greatest impediment to getting things done.
Should not say the SENATE, because that implies that all members have been complicit....it is NOT the entire senate at all. The leadership just squashed totally all debate and ammendments that may offer compromise. His not being the head of the Senate, hopefully, will begin to show results quickly
PS.....much of my comment also applies to the House, where a very stubborn minority stopped a lot. NOW, with a larger majority, that group has lost its power and must comprmise
