A few days ago my wife was driving into the Winifred Village on a cart path when a person going the other way waved her down and said to be sure to stop at the Stop sign when she went around the circle in the Cul d Sac and went on the normal Winifred Road as a cop was hiding up the street watching cars leaving the Cul d Sac and going on the "regular road within that Village". It was true, the cop was hiding within the Winifred village and looking for anyone not totally stopping at that sign. It was a terrible use of the police as I can promise you there is
zero chance of a problem at this remote intersection and they could have been watching for the speeding cars on Buena Vista where the problems really are. It was impossible to understand why they would waste resources while other serious violations are occuring.
