Interstellar
Just saw this movie at Brownwood. It's 3 hours - omg! And feels every minute worth. The writers and script throws so many over-the-top scientific, mathematical, and physics terms...to attempt a 'viable' storyline. A lot of 'give me a break' moments. If you saw Inception (by same writer/director) and put the storyline into an end-of-earth Space travel to find a new planet for humans to inhabit - .... same type of movie.
If you don't like organ music, a fully make-upped Ann Hathaway as a space venturer, Matthew McConaughey southern accent in full splendor - the word "Murph" in the script 172 times, and a dumb-looking robot, skip the movie. On the plus side the visuals are splendid, acting quite good, and the storyline could have been excellent if it was a 2 hour flick.
The 2:30pm movie was full, no applause afterward - most folks filed right out not waiting to read the credits. OH - Matt Damon was in the movie and had a relatively worthy part.
I'd give the movie a C+. BTW I think the guy next to me fell asleep a few times - heard some snorts...
