There's definitely a need for an indoor
lap pool, due to winter cold with early darkness cutting short the few evening hours after scheduled classes, and for avoiding sun exposure with many people already having had bouts of skin cancers.
It should be a membership deal, and could be part of the Priority Pool (Country Club) Upgrade fees, as shown here:

If you think the roofed-in type pool is not needed against sun, then I assume you'll be removing the roof from your golf carts.
And if cold and rain aren't a problem for being outdoors in winter and rainy seasons, then why does everyone buy the golf cart canvas/vinyl/zipper enclosure or the curtis cab type enclosures?
