Seriously! If that were the case no one would ever tee off the black. However, you are wrong. The goal is to play from the tee that would allow you to make the green in regulation which I don't always do. Sometimes I'm a couple of feet right or left, sometimes the green is in bad shape and I two or three put and sometimes the bad me shows up. Maybe you should play from the green tees and you would definitely be a par golfer.
