I also like Lt.Wolfe, BUT believe it is a disgrace to "entrap" Villagers in order to raise revenue. There are plenty of speeders, reckless drivers to fill the cash register of the local court.
It would be interesting to see the statistics of accidents from Carts not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign within a Village. I think the lady who said she had not had a ticket in 50 years was probably telling the truth and the deputy answer was comical but the real problem was using the ability to trap villager's actually trapping them . Sort of sounds like the town north of Ocala that was charged with being a speed trap or the old Ludwicky, Ga. where it was a national disgrace. Hopefully the Sheriff or Lt.Wolfe will recognize the foolishness of this and stop the practice. By the way we have never been stopped for a traffic or moving violation in over 50 years.
