Tomwed I agree with your points. We have a seat belt in our cart.I get a little frustrated with those that point to the risks that Officers take. Of course they do and we should all have deep appreciation for their dedication but that does not excuse this "trapping" citizens in order to raise revenue. So others should not lecture me that if I don't like this practice that I am "anti public service".
The Supervisors should assign them where they will do the most good to protect the public and sitting in a street in a Village waiting for an innocent cart driver to not come to a "
total stop"
at a inter village stop sign is not the best usage of an officer.
