This has gone far off the point with attempts at very poor quality jokes, angry readers saying how they deeply respect the police as though some do not and they are special, the question was and is: Is it the best use of the Sheriff's resources by placing them in a Village and having them sit and wait for someone not to come to a complete stop and give them a $166 ticket in order to increase revenue for the court and county business. This is not rocket science and does not require candidates for Mensa to answer the question. Can we stay on point and not use the site to brag of respect for police or make jokes. It really gets very tiresome. The fact that I have a life time gold card membership in the PBA has nothing to do with the question of priority of assignments for the police. How would you answer the question and why it is your opinion?
