How times have changed. When I came home in 1975, a group of us coming through Chicago O'Hare were spit on by people and when I got to NJ, I went into a diner and they refused to serve me because I was in uniform.
Guess everyone forgot there was a draft and we were not given a choice of having to be there.
But I am so glad our country is now proud of those who serve.
