Many organizations take donations for holiday meals, Christmas gifts for the needy, etc. That being said, claiming to have a sudden spiritual enlightening at the local grocery seems to me to be disingenuous. And the fact that the OP named the store and identified the asst. manager by name is troubling to me. I have seen threads closed on ToTv for posters being too personal to members who for most part unknown to viewers and who are using fictitious monikers. I believe this website was remiss in not closing this thread immediately. Personal attacks on real people, with real jobs, with real families to feed from anonymous people I find quite repulsive. And to think there are some that join in and blindly agree with the OP with zero facts is comical, actually pathetic.
Well said.
