I understand the difference between the seriousness of various forms of anti-social behavior - of course they are not all the same. :
* My point is that it is common for a lot of people, no matter how minor or egregious the offense, to act "defensive" when they are brought to task.* The possibility that someone may act "defensive" is no reason NOT to point out they are doing something that is unacceptable.* Avoid confronting offensive children just because they might become "defensive" and you will end up with anti-social psychopaths.
