Very nice post, Senior.
When I was growing up in Minneapolis, my parents knew nothing of wine. The only wine in our house was Mogan David concord grape wine. On special occasions, Mom would serve it at the dinner table in little crystal cordial glasses.
While I was in the Army in the late '60's, I spent time in Germany and learned of good German reds and whites. I introduced those to my parents and Mogan David was not served in the house anymore.
However, whenever I have a little glass of Mogan David with some of my Jewish friends, I still think of those times sitting around the table with Mom and Dad sipping from those cordial glasses.
