YES IT DOES!
While growing up I didn't have to press 1 for English! Maybe I should press 1 for English and 2 for German, Polish, Italian, ect. ect. ect. Our families assimilated, embraced their new country and learned English no matter how difficult it may have been and they immigrated LEAGALLY!
