Seeing a doctor is not in the picture. Getting a prescription medication is out of the question. I see doctors and take meds when it is something serious. This is a simple, inconvenient cold. I have a very strong gag reflex (dentists have been known to send me elsewhere) and the combo of coughing and saliva and occasional phlegm is causing the gagging. I was just hoping someone knew of something I could take that didn't include a decongestant.
I will check out Delsym since I have a tendency to really trust pharmacists. Hate honey but may break down and try that.
