Do you believe that the protestors in Missouri got together and said,
"you know, if we have protests then maybe the cops in NYC won't write as many tickets" ? You might have one piece right. I do suspect that an underlying motivation was to suppress those elements of the "system" that the protestors saw as excessive use of violence against black males especially. And that they may have been motivated by their feeling, their perception that the "system" is unequal in its application of justice. Maybe those motivations were more important than the image you have fabricated of a hope of protestors for a free for all on crime.
