again, bad cops are the exception, bad supervisors are the exception, If it were always bad there would be no story. But I post these only to show that recent events didn't create a problem that wasn't already there.
IF you read the link, you would find it was out of fear that they are overlooking some things...

"I’m not writing any summonses. Do you think I’m going to stand there so someone can shoot me or hit me in the head with an ax?” One cop said Sunday, referring to the Dec. 20 slayings and another recent attack on the NYPD.

“I’m concerned about my safety,” the cop added. “I want to go to home to my wife and kids.”

The shooting in Los Angeles last night on a patrol car simply compounds the fear

NOBODY that I am aware of, on this forum or otherwise has even attempted to paint the police as perfect...not one, yet some continue to try and emphasize only the negative while they get shot at.

Just makes me wonder the motivation !!!

I forgot, a patrol car in Pasco County was also shot at last evening.

Now, there is more motivation to point out anything negative about cops. Seems that the more they are attacked, the more we hear of any misadventures of police. Again, have not heard one single person try to paint any police department as anything but human and making errors. BUT, makes sense to condemn them more while they are down...is that the game ??
