I also like early boomers. We formed the leading edge of the upward trending birthrate curve which started in 1940 although it dipped in 1944 and 1945. http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2002/SamuelBernard2.gif I remember that we had to go to high school in three shifts during my sophomore year until the new high school being built was up and running.

If I recall correctly when I was a child some adults referred to us as war babies since we were born during WWII. However, that term can connote illegitimacy. War Babies - definition of War Babies by The Free Dictionary
