While on a cruise, we met a couple who had a timeshare on Aruba that the wife got in a previous divorce settlement. They never used or traded it but just paid maintenance fees. They gave it to us and paid the transfer fee.

We use it for Interval Int. trading and love the timeshare trades. We also have one by Marriott and go to it in Palm Beach a couple times a year.

Too many people do not know the inside outs of timeshare trading. It has worked out great for us.

As for selling, I am a Senior vs Crime volunteer. Lots of Villagers have been taken for a lot of money by companies offering to sell their timeshare BUT demanding a large upfront fee. It is extremely hard to sell a timeshare.
