I'm pretty sure that Spell Check creates a new window on top of the one where you're working. After you finish, it pops up with a "Spell Check Complete" window. Hit okay and both the tiny window and the actual spell check window disappear. For the preview, it seems to appear above the block in which you type your msg. After looking at it, I just scroll back down to the work area and either make changes, add, or hit Post. This one had me going for a while. I'd hit Preview and seemingly nothing happened except my screen blinked. Only when I accidentally scrolled up did I see the previewed msg, complete with the silly icons.
