The Safest States in the United States in 2015 according to the FBI
The state of Vermont tops the list of the Safest States in the United States with only 121 violent crimes per 100,000 people in the state. It is in the country’s New England region of the northeastern United States. It is the sixth smallest in area and the second least populous of the 50 United States. Of note, Vermont borders New York as well as Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Its neighbor to the north is the province of Quebec which is located in the country of Canada to the north.
