How come the cart in the picture has the pre 2017 headlights?

That's not my neighbor's cart. I said they will customize however you want and will paint your cart any color you want. My neighbor chose a blue cart with black roof. This photo is taken from their website of a cart you can buy for $8999. Sorry for the confusion that I didn't label the photo. My neighbor's cart is a EFI Quie Tech Cart, how long has that been available? I'm sure you could ask to the see the paperwork of when it was manufactured. They do have cheaper carts, but the OP was looking at new. It's obvious that they don't update their website every month by showing examples that are older, but you should get the idea. You can actually visit the place in person. Here's another from their site:

My 2-seats Quietec Drive 2 was $7600 at Augusta ATV, with the big warehouse just inside S.C. They must have had hundreds of carts, all configurations. There is also one dealership in Augusta GA, but they did not have the selection as their warehouse. I was pleased with the price and the dealer answered all my questions. They also had EZ-Go and other cart manufacturers. Never saw so many nice golf carts before.

Basic 2020 Yamaha golf cart pick your color... black 10 in wheels .. buy at tnt in Georgia $7199 plus tax. The Villages I believe was 9200 or 9500 same exact cart. Two grand difference pretty sad . And somebody’s gonna say something about service but you can service anywhere you want there’s a lot of good guys out there Willys could fix it if you have a problem but it still under warranty no matter where you go

Which goes for a lot of other pricey things around here as well for no other reason other than because they have and will continue to get away with it. Are we living in West Palm? You'd think it was, but it ain't.

The price should be less than $7000, I paid $6500 for a new 2017 2 years ago. Tell the dealer the options you want added on and agree on a price. You will save several thousand dollars, plus pay no sales tax if you buy in Georgia. It cost me $200 for a guy to deliver the cart. I had no problems getting oil change or warranty service on my cart at Villages golf cart even though I didn't buy from them.

We're new and trying to decide on buying new golf cart as well. Did The Villages Golf Cart still provide you with no-cost loaner when your cart was in for service?

Yes they do, plus they will provide peace of mine being there when you need them.

That was good information about buying a golf cart in Georgia. How did you find someone to do the delivery?

They won't service your cart unless you buy it from them. I was told that last week when I made a service appointment with them.

I guess base price has gone up, paid $6500 here 2 years ago.

So, the 2020 model cart, purchased in Georgia, is $3,796 less than the 2019 model, purchased in The Villages? Is that really an apples to apples comparison, or does the one in The Villages have more features?

Good reason to buy from them. I bought a used battery cart from them 3 years ago. Needs work and I have a loaner in the garage now. One of the best reasons to buy from TVs.

I'm not sure what "servicing" a car means, but it would be a violation of the Yamaha warranty for an authorized dealer to refuse to repair a defect during the warranty period. Their warranty clearly states that you can enforce the warranty at any authorized dealership, as long as you purchased it from an authorized Yamaha dealer. Has anyone addressed this with Yamaha for an explanation?

collie1228 11-07-2019 08:18 AM

If you didn't buy the cart from them, they won't make a service appointment for you, so you have to line up at the garage door, and when the shop opens (at 8:00AM I think), they take you in, first come, first served. They are limited by available overnight parking space inside the building, I was told by the service writer, as their insurance coverage doesn't allow them to park your cart outside overnight while it waits for service. So get there early to ensure you get service. I have used them several times now for service, and they have always offered a free loaner cart. The service has been very good, and I was happy with pricing.
