lift his seat and leave a note that says, next time you block me in I will kick your seat.

If I need a spot in a hurry I would not be a rude :cus: s.o.b. and block a person in.
They deserve to be moved to another location so the owner has to look for it.

Yeah, I can just see my 87 y/o mother trying to push the cart out of the way so she can get her cart out. It's just rude to block someone in. Just look around and you can see how other carts are parked.

the simple solution to this is when parking never pull in so far that anyone can pull in behind you.

:boxing2:An EZGO RXV can't be pushed without raising the seat and putting the toggle switch in the tow position. Oh by the way if you forget to put it back in the run position the cart will not run. Most people would not think to look at the switch if their cart won't not run. Serves them right.:coolsmiley:

I have a hard time wrapping my head around this one.Why would anyone think this is alright? Rude, inconsiderate? I think these are the same people that don't rake sand traps or fix their divots on the golf courses. These are the people that go through life thinking someone else will do it.Is it the way they were brought up? Is it the folks of wealth that have been waited on all their lives? Maybe someone who does these things can enlighten us all to their reasoning for being inconsiderate.Life is so much nicer when we consider how our actions affect others!

It wasn't me

It didn't happen to me nor did I comit the crime, I was just commenting on an earlier post by BB. That's all

Back in Pittsburgh in late 40's or early 50's my father had taken the last parking space up to railroad tracks in his car. When he returned some inconsiderate had managed to get his car in front of him so tight that he couldn't get out. He found that the car was unlocked so he put it in neutral. He then got in his car, pushed the other car up on the tracks and drove away.

Excellent advice

This solution is so simple. Anyone have a problem with it? I think it is excellent. I think I am going to call red tail every time I have a problem.

:agree:

I agree with the "don't pull in the slot all the way" idea. I never pull up where someone can get behind me unless I am absolutely certain I have an escape path. I also think if you push a cart into the road to get out, you could be held liable for damages if you left the cart in the road (although I like the idea). Putting the cart back and leaving the "tow/run" switch in "tow" position is also pretty cool - most of the clubcars have them. Who would think to look at the switch for at least several minutes?

It might be fun to switch places. Push him out, get your cart out, push him back in, and then block his cart. Go run a few errands, see a movie, etc. Or just wait close by and see the reaction.

My sentiments exactly

This is EXACTLY what I'd do..... Some people don't seem to understand until you "teach" them!!! What goes around comes around!! :evil6:

And I thought this was Florida's Friendliesrt Home Town.

I got blocked in last week. Fortunately, we both had Yamahas and I simply used my key, pulled the gentleman's cart out, moved my cart and was ready to pull his cart back into the spot when he came running out, yelling his fool head off. Turns out he wasn't in a hurry and wasn't being rude or inconsiderate. He thought he was parked behind his friend's cart -- only noticed the color, didn't look at anything else. Dumb, yup; but nothing more heinous than that. We both got a good laugh over it (and I did admit that I was hoping someone would block him in as I was getting ready to pull his cart back into my spot).

As to parking so no one can park behind you, I don't agree with this idea. It has always been considered the courteous way to park was to be sure that the driver of a car could get in and out of their vehicle. So, the right side of space parks towards the back of the space, the left (passenger door of vehicle) parks towards the front. This also makes it easier for the car to get out of the spot and less risk of your cart getting hit.
