Default Atomic golf cart batteries

There is another Atomic cart for sale here that is a 2016 model. It states the batteries were replaced in 2017. I have seen the same thing on other Atomic carts. Is there a problem with the batteries used in Atomic carts? I have been thinking of buying one, but really cautious. I just replaced my 4 1/2 year old Trojan batteries and just don't understand replacing 1 year old batteries.

Since op ask about batteries, not if they were a fashion statement, here is the best I have.

Friends have two electric cars, and batteries need to be replaced at three years. But they love them

So They looked at an atomic and decided to not buy. They were told by a couple that owned one the batteries depending on amount of use need to be replaced at the 1.5 year mark. Seems excessive to me, but no explanation for why

How many batteries in an Atomic cart and how much does it cost to replace all of them? Life span of less than 2 years would be a deal breaker for me.

Maybe it's the A/C and heat that will weaken the batteries.
