When I was 12 years old my parents bought me a 10 speed 26" bike, it was way too big for me at the time so I used these pedal blocks. A block would go on each side of the pedal on a bike, but on the golf cart put both blocks on the top side and then add the rubber surround, which is ribbed and helps the foot make contact. $10 at Walmart.

Velcro if you look at it is nylon hooks that catches a fabric material. I looses holding power as it is used and as it gets dirty. Also, it is held in place with a contact adhesive. I expect the adhesive also looses holding power over time and in heat.

I hope there are better solutions.
'Velcro,' (like 'Kleenex' for 'facial tissues') is simply just a name brand...for the 'hook & loop' fastening system.

As JoelJohnson describes though, I'm sure that if the 'hook & loop' attachment he's chosen wears out...it's pretty simple to replace it.

So I'll stand by Tomwed's description of..."Brilliant." :thumbup:

That would make it very difficult to set the parking tab on the brake pedal.

Agreed.

However, I still maintain that someone who has a problem using the accelerator...will have even more problems properly using the brakes.

A good solution needs to be found... for the left pedal too. :shrug:

Check Golfcartmaster.com They are located in The Villages and the lady dropped one off for us at the house. Great product. I am 5'8 and it does not bother me to leave it in place. Wife is 5' 1'

I don't have a cart. I guess the seat doesn't slide. Maybe if you change the integrity [if that's the right word] of the cart by adding a block you may have a problem should anything go wrong.

Way back when, my wife use to put a pillow behind her back. She hardly drove, I drove.

Just buy a rubber sanding block and zip tie it to peddle. I'm a short woman and stumbled on this solution. Told my neighbors abut five others did it and love it. Bought at Walmart less than $5.
